Food Partiality

As a celebration to one of human's most basic necessity I choose to write an entry about one of my favorite topics: F O O D.... Good food.  Pleasurable delicacy.
 
Now it might not matter to some how good foods are as long as you survive the day, or complains about the un-necessarily expensive price of haute cuisine  which make one part painstakingly from one's hard-earn coffered money, knowing the food, good or bad, will soon leave your body undifferentiated.  Nevertheless, I do argue that there is merit in treating oneself once in a while.
 
So that's what I've been doing the past Easter... enjoying some of the good sweets/patisserie London has to offer.  It's no easy task, as this isn't Paris.  But with the help of a world-famous Parisian patisserie decided to open a branch in London, things couldn't be so good.  Hmm.... maybe i'm falling into a trap... one set by commercialism and fad celebrity chefs.  But for all it's worth.... tasting them are a pleasure.
 
So here are pictures of the delightful macaroons and some signature cakes from La Duree.
Let me tell you, the Kiss is excellent.  Laid with sponge vanilla, layered with coconut, rasberry jam, and light cream, and covered in their signature white-chocolate kiss.... it's one to strive for.
 
The other is the Saint-Honore cake... inside the little donut balls on the side are rasberry/strawberry jam.... hm......yum.........
 
And of course, La Duree's signature Macaroons made from almonds and flavoured with everything you can think of.... who knows... they might do a LaDuree all flavoured macaroons soon if JK Rowling could get that!!! .......
 
And the mundane happiness of eating animal named bread stick with strawberry jam.
 
Wow... my mouth is watering... and i'm thinking about getting into shape!!!!
